Summer Fun (May 01, 2005)
I cannot believe that this year is passing so fast. Summer is almost here in the South. We have a lot of new beads that we purchased this week and we expect more next week. The colors are bright and fun. You will love the selection. We also have a really big shipment of seed beads that I hope to have in place by Tuesday.
We are still creating beautiful pins and we have a few more of the shell "leaves". These classes are fun and quick.
Mother's day will be here next Sunday. REmind your folks to get you a Village Beads gift certificate! It is always a perfect fit! Mother's bracelets with silver names are always popular. We have been making lots of prayer bracelets for mothers also. You must do your homework before you create a prayer bracelet. You need to know who she prays for and their birth month. Come in anytime and create one for you and your mother.
New items (February 27, 2005)
Last week was a busy week with lots of new beads! The African Trader came and we added to our extensive collection and purchased lots of beads that are good filler beads. We also got the metal beads on a strand that you all like so well.
We also had a new dealer come with lots of beads in new spring colors and we just couldn't resist. These will really add to your Spring and Summer designs. Be sure and come by soon.
We will have the trunk show two more weeks and many of the beads are sold out already. There are still plenty to choose from so come check them out.
We will have a big silver order in by Wednesday.
Remember to come to Beaders Night Out on the 17th from 6p-10p. It is a lot of fun and the door prizes are great! Hope to see you soon
New Year (January 2, 2005)
I hope that you all enjoyed this Holiday season as much as we did. We look forward to a great 2005. We have gotten several new shipments of silver and crystal in the last week. We are working hard to get it all out for your shopping pleasure. Now you can relax and create beautiful jewelry and beaded items without all the rush. Bookmarks and crosses have been very popular this season, Look for a class soon on pins. I have really enjoyed creating necklaces with a pin as the center or focal point. Hope to see you soon.
Crawford's classes (January 2, 2005)
Crawford will be teaching classes again on Saturdays at 4p.m. Each class will be different and you will make a beautiful needle and thread item. She is still working on her schedule and it will be posted soon. If you have any special request let me know as soon as possible.
Happy Holidays (December 6,2004)
We are having lots of fun making ornaments and christmas spiders.We got in some new mixes of Czech glass that look great. There are some recent additions in Swarovski crystal bicones,a few new colors and finishes. We also have some new sterling crosses with gemstones set in them, they are fabulous and the prices are great so i'm sure we'll re-order soon.We have been getting in new stuff often and I'm sure I've left out some things so come see us if you have a chance.I Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season.
